Explanation - about this blog
Get more information about my overall CSDB project.
- Start by following the links under "Contents" in the sidebar to the left:
- Summary: Pearl's summary includes information about other members of her family. There you will find links to transcripts or abstracts of records (with sources coded as abbreviations in brackets). Also, you will often find links to images of sources, and links to map locations.
- Research Log: A chronological list of sources checked for this project, and links to the notes.
- Index: An alphabetic list of most names found, and links to the posts in which those names are mentioned.
- The date on most of the posts is the date that the research was done. In many cases, the research was posted after the fact, so the date was entered retroactively.
- If you would like to be notified about updates, then you
can subscribe to this blog by clicking on this Subscribe icon:
If you don't already use a feed reader
service, or have feed reader software,
I recommend
Google Reader.
Other services also
provide this capability, many of them free.
- Some links in this blog lead to free or paid subscription services, and may include information identifying the author as the referrer, and for which the author may receive a small financial compensation.
